With an amazing all-star line up including the likes of Marc Boutavant, Henning Wagenbreth, Blexbolex, Pietari Posti and Paul Blow, and the emerging talents of Eda Akaltun, Jon Boam, Jack Teagle and Sroop Sunar, Issue 2 is shaping up to be a real collectors item! No Brow is a pantone-printed, dazzlingly beautiful, London-based magazine. I'm really proud to be part of it. There's a fantastic contribution by Isabelle Vandenabeele as well (also a belgian illustrator).
A new children's book to be published this spring.
It's the final part of the trilogy by ianka Fleerackers.
The previous books were 'Uil plus Leeuwerik' and 'Zwaan'.
It's about Owl, the main character, who's struggling with his feelings.
He really misses Leeuwerik, his friend. But Owl lives in the night and Leeuwerik loves to sing at daytime. Together with moon, they come to a solution.
This Spring, the Spectra Ensemble (classic orchestra) is touring around Belgium with 'Frankenstein'. Pieter Embrechts sings little children rhymes and my illustrations will be projected on a big screen. It's going to be an allround experience for children, a dark, humoristic and playfull orchestra.
